Today more than 58 million people around the world can turn on a tap or safely use a toilet because small, affordable loans empowered them to get access to safe water and sanitation at home.
MERCY SHIPS
Globally, 5 billion people lack access to safe surgery. With the support of people like you, we deploy hospital ships to combat this overwhelming statistic.
Around the world in places without access to medical care, there are children, teens and adults suffering and dying from treatable causes. Without help, one child in eight will die before age 5. We can reach these vulnerable children and families and provide the hope and healing they have been praying for.
WORLD CENTRAL KITCHEN
World Central Kitchen (WCK) is a not-for-profit non-governmental organization devoted to providing meals in the wake of natural disasters.
Founded in 2010 by chef José Andrés, the organization prepared food in Haiti following its devastating earthquake. Its method of operations is to be a first responder and then to collaborate and galvanize solutions with local chefs to solve the problem of hunger, following a disaster.
